Frequently Asked Questions
Haven Family Consulting provides non-clinical, relationship-focused family consulting and parent coaching to families navigating behavioral and emotional challenges with young children. I help families understand what is beneath the behavior and how to respond in a way that fosters regulation, connection, and long-term development.
No. My work is non-clinical and not therapy. I don’t diagnose, treat, or provide mental health counseling.
I support families navigating tantrums, aggression, anxiety, defiance, emotional dysregulation, and ongoing power struggles. I also work with families of children who are neurodivergent, have developmental delays, or are struggling with self-regulation. If something in your home feels overwhelming or confusing, we can work through it together.
I work with parents and caregivers, not directly with children. Most families I support have children between 0-8 years old, but the child may be older depending on their developmental needs.
